  Text	This is the last Will and Testament of me George Yeo of South Brent in the County of Somerset Yeoman. I give devise and appoint unto my children Jane the Wife of Joseph Good Mary the Wife of John Dawbin and Sarah Yeo their Heirs and Assigns for ever as Tenants in common and not as joint tenants all those several closes of ground hereditaments parts and premises situate in the parish of Pawlett in the said County whereof or whereto I am now seized or entitled for any estate of Freehold or inheritance together with all and singular the appurtenances thereto respectively belonging. I give devise and appoint unto John Chapman of South Brent aforesaid Plumber and Glazier and Thomas Cooke of the same place Yeoman All that Messuage or Tenement and several closed pieces and parcels of land hereditaments and premises situation in the parish of East Pennard in the said County and late in the occupation of William Russell as tenant thereof to me the said George Yeo together with all and singular the appurtenance thereto belonging to hold the same with the appurtenances unto the said John Chapmond and Thomas Cooke their Heirs and Assigns To the use of my said daughter Jane the Wife of the said Joseph Good and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life without impeachments of waste with remainder to use of all and every or such one or more of the children of the said Joseph Good on the body of the said Jane his Wife lawfully begotten or to be begotten at such times for such estate or estates in such manner and form in such parts shares and proportions [George Yeo [seal], Jos. Beake, Robt Mulford] and with under and subject to such powers provisoes and conditions restrictions and limitations over and charged and chargeable with such annual or gross sums such limitations over and charged to be for the benefit of some or one of the same children as they the said Joseph Good and Jane his wife at any time or times during their joint lives by any deed or deeds writing or writings with or without power of revocation to be by both of them sealed and delivered in the presence of and attested by two or more credible witnesses or as the survivor of them the said Joseph Good and Jane his wife at any time or times during his or her life by any deed or deeds writing or writings with or without power of revocation to be by him or her sealed delivered and attested as aforesaid or by his or her last Will and Testament in writing or writing in the nature thereof or any codicil thereto to be by him or her signed and published in the presence of an attested [sic] by three or more credible witnesses shalt direct limit or appoint and in default of any such direction limitation or appointment as aforesaid and as to such part or parts therefore whereof no such direction limitation or appointment shall be made and in case any such shall be made then when and as often as the estates and interests thereby directed limited or appointed shall respectively end and determine to the us [sic] of all and every the children and child (whether sons or daughters) of the said Joseph Good and Jane his Wife lawfully begotten or to be begotten equally to be divided between or amongst them (if more than one) share and share alike and they to take severally as tenants in common and of the several and respective Heirs of the body and bodies of all and every such child and children lawfully issuing with cross remainders in tail and if all such children buy one shall die without issue or there shall be but one such child then to the use of such surviving or only child and of the heirs of his or her body lawfully issuing and for default of all such issue then to use of my own right heirs for ever I give devise and appoint unto the said John Chapman and [George Yeo [seal], Jos. R. Poole, Robt. Beake, Robt Mulford] Thomas Cooke all those my three closes or pieces of meadow or pasture ground lying together called or known by the name of Horse Crofts containing by estimation one and twenty acres (more or less) lying and being at hand within the parish of Kewstoke in the said County and all other the hereditaments of me the said George Yeo situate in the parish of Kewstoke aforesaid to hold the same with the appurtenances unto the said John Chapman and Thomas Cooke their heirs and assigns to the uses upon the trusts and for the intents and purposes following (that is to say) to the use of my said son in law John Dawbin and his assigns for and during the term of his natural life without impeachment of waste with remainder to the use of the said John Chapman and Thomas Cooke and their heirs during the life of the said John Dawbin in trust to preserve the contingent remainders here and after limited with remainder to the use of my said daughter Mary the Wife of the said John Dawbin and her assigns for an during the term of her natural life without impeachment of waste with remainder to the use of all and every or such one or more of the children of the said John Dawbin on the body of the said Mary his wife lawfully begotten or to be begotten at such times for such estate or collected in such manner and form and in such parts shares and proportions and with under and subject to such powers provisoes and conditions restrictions and limitations over and charged and chargeable with such annual or gross sums such limitations over and charges to befor [sic] the benefit of some or one of the same children they the said John Dawbin and Mary his wife at any time or times during their joint lives by any deed or deeds writing or writings with or without power of revocation to be by both of them sealed and delivered in the presence of an attested by two or more credible witnesses or as the survivor of them the said John Dawbin and Mary his wife at any time or times during his or her life by any deed or deeds writing or writings with or without power of revocation to be by him or her sealed delivered and attested as aforesaid or by his or her last will and testament [George Yeo [seal], Jos. R. Poole, Robt. Beake, Robt Mulford] in writing or writing in the nature thereof or any codicil thereto to be by him or her signed and published in the presence of an attested by three or more credible witnesses shall direct limit and appoint and in default of such direction limitation or appointment as aforesaid and as to such part or parts thereof whereof no such direction limitation or appointment shall be made and in case any such shall be made then when and as often as the estates and interests thereby directed limited or appointed shall respectively end and determine to the use of all and every the children and Child whether sons or daughters of the said John Dawbin and Mary his wife lawfully begotten or to be begotten equally to be divided between or amongst them if more than one share and share alike and they to take severally as tenants in common and of the several and respective heirs of the body and bodies of all and every such child and children lawfully issues with cross remainders in tail and if all such children by one shall die without issue or there shall be but one such child then to the use of such surviving or only child and of the heirs of his or her body lawfully issuing and for default of such issue then to the use of my own right heirs forever I give to my said Daughter Sarah Yeo the sum of seven hundred pounds to be paid to her within twelve months next after my death with interest at the rate of five pounds per centum per annum to be computed from the time of my death. I give to the said John Chapman and Thomas Cooke the sum of five pounds apiece and as to for and concerning all other my estate and effects both real and personal forfeited mortgages monies and securities for money whatsoever and wheresoever whereof or whereto I now am or shall or may at the time of my death be in any wise seized possessed or entitle or over which I have or may have any disposing power I give devise and appoint the same unto the said John Chapman and Thomas Cooke their heirs executors administrators and assigns upon trust to call in [George Yeo [seal], Jos. R. Poole, Robt. Beake, Robt Mulford] and receive all and every sum and sums of money which shall be due to me at the time of my death and to see and convert into money all other my residuary real and personal estate and effects and therewith and thereout in the first place to pay and satisfy my just debts and funeral expenses and the legacies hereinbefore given and bequeathed and after paying and satisfying the same to place the residue of the trust monies out at interest or otherwise to invest the same in the purchase of stock in some or one of the public funds of this Kingdom with power to sell out the stock and change the securities for the same as often as the said trustees or the survivors of them or the executors or administrators of such survivor shall think fit and upon further trust to receive and take the dividends interest and produce of the said residuary trust monies and pay the same to my wife Ann Yeo and her assigns during her natural life and from an immediately after her decease then upon trust by and out of the said trust monies to pay my said daughter Sarah Yeo the sum of three hundred pounds to her own proper use and benefit and upon further trust to pay and divide all the residue of the said trust monies or to assign and transfer the stocks funds and securities upon which the same shall be laid out or invested unto and equally between my six grandchildren Charles Dawbin James Dawbin Henry Dawbin Joseph Good George Yeo Good and Benjamin Good share and share alike to be paid assigned or transferred to them respectively when and as they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one years and the interest dividends and produce thereof in the meantime to accumulate for their benefit respectively provided always and I do hereby declare it to be my will and meaning that the provision hereby made for my said wife is intended to be in addition to such dower and thirds at common law as she may have or claim from or out of any messuages or hereditaments whereof I have been am or shall be seized of any estate of inheritance during the coverture between us [George Yeo [seal], Jos. Beake, Robt Mulford] provided also and I do hereby declare that the said John Chapman and Thomas Cooke or the survivor of them or the heirs executors or administrators of such survivors shall be charged and chargeable for such monies only as they shall respectively actually received by virtue of this my will and that they any or either of them shall not be accountable for any loss or losses which may happen of the said trust premises or in the execution of the said trust or in relation thereto unless the same happen through their some or one of their wilful neglect of default neither shall any one or more of them be answerable or accountable for the others or other of them or further acts deeds receipts neglects or defaults of the others or other of them but each and every of them for his own acts deeds receipts neglects and defaults only And further that it shall be lawful for my said trustees or the survivors of them or the heirs executors or administrators of such survivors by and out of the monies which shall come to their respective hands by virtue of this my will to retain to and reimburse himself and themselves respectively and also to allow to his and their co-trustee all costs charges damages or expenses which any or either of them shall or may suffer sustain expend to be put to in or about the execution of all or any of the trusts aforesaid or in relation thereto Provided also and I do hereby declare it to be my further will and meaning that each and every of them my said children and their respective husbands and the heirs executors and administrators of each and every of them shall make do an execute all such acts deeds conveyances and assurances in the law as shall be necessary or answerable for effectually confirming the several devises bequests or appointments made or intended to be made by this my will such acts deeds conveyances and assurances to be from time to time made done and executed at the costs and charges of the person or persons requiring the same and in case any or either of my said children or the husband or husbands heirs executors or administrators of any of either of them shall refuse or neglect any such acts deeds conveyances [George Yeo [seal], Jos. Beake, Robt Mulford] and assurances as aforesaid in pursuance of this my will or shall disturb or interrupt any other or others of my said children or the husband or husbands heirs executors administrators or assigns of any other or others of them in the possession or enjoyment of the said closes of ground hereditaments parts and premises hereinbefore by me divised [sic] bequeathed or appointed to him her or them as aforesaid I do hereby declare that the devises bequests trusts limitations and appointments contained in this my will to or in favor [sic] of the child or children or other person or persons who shall be so disturbed or interrupted or whose estate or interest under this my will be shall be refused or neglected to be confirmed his her or their heirs executors administrators and assigns and lastly I appoint the said John Chapman and Thomas Cooke executors of this my will In trust and for the purposes of aforesaid In writings whereof the said George Yeo the testator have to each sheet of this my last will and testament comprised in or written on seven sheets of paper set my had and seal the seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.
