    • Dead by 31 Mar 1901, when Edward was a widower. No death has been identified: the GRO deaths of Eliza and Elizabeth Godfrey, 1891-1901, in Bristol, Barton Regis, Bedminster and Wells (Bristol 1897, aged 49; Bristol 1899, aged 39) don’t fit her age, and no Somerset burial has been found.
